Tim Tebow Is A Total Creep

I am admittedly a die hard Miami Hurricane - meaning I, by my very nature, cant stand anything that comes out of Tallahasse or Gainesville - but this Tim Tebow character is really starting to rub me the wrong way. I get that he really believes in Jesus and is quite sure He is the reason that he won a national championship, broke tons of records and owns the worst Simon-Cowell-impersonating-haircut in college, but must he insist on telling us all how to live our lives?! The guy supposedly spent his college summers (aka offseasons) in the Philippines working in orphanages, which sounds like a nice idea - but when it turns out that he was there doing "mission" work whereby he was cutting dudes wangs in the name of God, well its a bit creepy.

Now, his excellence is featured in a pro-life TV ad that is set to run during the Super Bowl talking about how his version of the invisible man in the sky doesn't think its right. Well, that's quite a lot of judgments from a religious guy who claims to have never swiped his own v-card! As far as I'm concerned Tebow was an awesome college football player (possibly the greatest ever), who looks like he may end up being a mediocre pro (his Senior Bowl showing was less than impressive) - but I don't see how that at all makes him qualified to tell people what they should do with their life, their sexy time or the results of said sexy time.

We will expect all of our players to give back to the community and to be solid role models for the youth - but outside of sports talk, they can keep their opinions to themselves.

Tebow

Tebow is an awesome athlete, competitor, human being and role model. His message is a positive one and I’ll bet he lays awake at night wondering what you think. Wow.

Tebow

I thought maybe a Cane fan would have a quarterback of their own to talk about but hell no. You are still all hung up on the Gators QB. I really thought Jacory Harris was going to be a stand-out player this year and he showed a lot of promise there for a game or two but damn, what happened? Here you are with nothing to obsess over but Tebow.

speaking of obsess...

do you title all of your comment posts “Tebow”……also, get bent dork.

Thanks JS

I appreciate an articulate response. I do not want to spread hate between fans of rival teams. It’s all in fun but I sometimes jump in to defend Tebow because I believe in him and I believe in his cause. After all the things I have been called, “dork” doesn’t shrivel me. Best of luck, I wish all Fl. teams well.

I am for separation of church and sport

…and for tim to continually use his unique position to espouse his personal views on the general public is irresponsible at best.

On signing day...

We get Kyle Wright – who is supposed to be the #1 QB – and he turns out to be a bust in a program known for being the best talent factory in the nation (by a mile) and around the same timeUF gets Tebow who turns out to be a college legend (despite likely being a terrible pro)… of course I’m bitter – which gives me even more reason to not want to hear Tebow spew his religious preachings during my Sunday afternoon. I’m not logging on to Gator blogs and aint looking for Tebow to tell me how he feels, but when he does a Super Bowl ad well then he’s bringing the message to me, so I think I’m allowed to complain… And enough with this Tebow awesome “human being” nonsense – the guy spends his summers in third world countries preying on young, uneducated children trying to get them to join his wacky cult!

1. What a nice way to spin it. “preying on young educated children” lol wow. So if he spent his spring breaks partying and banging chicks left and right instead of helping local doctors working on young kids while also raising money to help support an orphanage you would think hes awesome then? So what his mission are to spread his “wacky cults word” (ignorant), I gurantee your religion or lack of one does the same thing. And in the mean time when he isnt talking about religion hes helping unfortunate people, that is why it is amazing. Helping doctores perform surgies and raise money for the locals there has nothing to do with his religion it is just a selfless act. Only an naive hate filled person would find a way to spin it the way you did.

2. You hadnt even seen the commercial at that time and you are blabbering your mouth on how terrible you think it is. After seeing the actual commercial you really cant complain becuase it did not preach about anything except supporting the family and caring for eatch other. Again I guess you would prefer to watch dudes walking around in thier under wear to promote a job searching web site. Thats perfectly fine with you I suppose.

Wacky cult

I agree with everything you have to say about college football and I apologize for trespassing here. I ask you though, to seek the best counsel you can before deciding that Tim represents a “wacky cult”. I ain’t preachin, I care about most people but I lack the moral credentials to preach. God bless college football!

Good job on getting me to join this blog that I had no idea exsisted... oh and TIM TEBOW

I know you think all of us Gator fans think TT is jesus and all that mumbo jumbo crap. But you said yourself you hate anything coming out of Gainsville, couldnt you have used your intelligence of knowing this info and refrained from posting such a misinformed post? Dont you find it annoying and idiotic when a rival team post rediculous comments about the Canes being thug U and all of those stereo types and you know that person has no idea what he is talking about and is just letting shit spew out of his mouth because of the hate towards your school!? That is exactly what this post is.

If you want to believe that Tim Tebow is out preaching and telling people how they should live thier life, I doubt I will be able to change your narrow mind on the matter. But I cant help to point out how rediculous your hate is for a human being who has caused you no real harm in life. Its just a game theres no need to make it a personal goal to force your naive opinions on everyone else because you are insecure that your contributions to this world will never amount to anything such as Tebows.

Atleast Tebow doesnt insult and slander other human beings becuase he doesnt agree with thier life style.
